I’m Scott Preston — a long-time coder, entrepreneur, and start-up coach, owner of CodeGin, and author of many books.
MuddleNot helps capable people turn the chaos they understand into the order people value.
It’s a clarity tool — a way to look hard and honestly at a business idea before you pour years of your life into it. The whole thing rests on four plain words: chaos, audience, order, package. The blog takes them one at a time.
It’s built for makers, coders, crafters, and experts — people with real skills who haven’t yet found a way to turn them into a business that works.
This is a personal project, and an early one. It’s free while it’s still being built. If you have thoughts — what works, what doesn’t, what confused you — I’d genuinely like to hear them.
